How I stayed calm under pressure.

The way I stayed calm under pressure is to go over first who has the highest acuity. Sometimes, it is hard to check or make order the acuity. Let say, I have the patient who experieced shortness of breath but not anymore with 5L/NC, has arrived to the unit with perianal abcess and scheduled for surgery today, cellulities in the left hands but no pain. 

In this case, to me, it was hard to put in the order who I have to give the meds first. sould I give the meds to the paitient who is going for the surgery soon? or to the patient who takes the most medication? 

To say calm, I have to take my time and be polite and be nice to all the patient.

In this situation, it was difficult for me to decide who should receive their medications first. Should I give the medications to the patient who is going to surgery soon, or to the patient who has the most medications due?

To stay calm, I remind myself to take my time, be polite, and be kind to all of my patients.

To stay calm, I take a deep breath, organize my tasks step by step, and focus on treating every patient politely and respectfully.
